DigiPak Re-think

After showing my teacher the ideas for my album cover for the ancillary task and gaining some feedback on the ideas I had come up with. They agreed with me that the half and half idea would be effective and generate a lot of meaning for the audience. However, they had some reservations about the consistency between my main production and the ancillary task. 

Because of this we have twisted the 2nd idea of the mattress in the middle of nowhere to having it on the side of a road this would provide both the connotations of him not being able to get any sleep due to him sleeping anywhere, plus the rushing cars that are passing behind him and the night time will connote the busyness of his life. 

In terms of creating and photographing this idea, I would ideally like a tatty mattress this is to show the Conor is going through a rough patch, and I am sure this will be achievable from the local tip where they may have a mattress available for me to have and use. In terms of finding the right street with a lamppost that is usable will not be too difficult. The most difficult section of this to complete will be the radio blurred cars in the background to give the impression that the cars are driving past quickly.
