Audience Research Questionnaire

This is a Questionnaire I produced to gain some audience feedback and possible ideas for my upcoming production:

1. ) Are you a fan of ‘Drum and Bass’, ‘Electronica’ or ‘Dance’ music? If not what other genre do you prefer?

2.)   Why do you like the genre mentioned in the previous question?

3.)   Have you heard of Faithless before? Explain why or why not? 


4.)   What is your favourite music video and why?


5.)   What would you normally expect to see from a Dance/Electronic/Drum  and Bass music video?


6.)   What narrative would you expect to see revolved around the lyric ‘I cant get no sleep’?


7.)   Are you a fan of the song ‘Insomnia’ if so why or why not?


8.)   What do you think the typical settings of a Drum and Bass/Electronica/Dance music video would be?


9.)   Do you feel like the video should be shot in daylight or at night, giving it is based on the ideology of not being able to get any sleep?


10.)Would you prefer to see a full 8 minute video or a edited version smaller version such as 5 minutes?


11.)Do you feel a large crowd or one character would suit the genre and sound of the song/music video? And why?


12.)What characters would you expect to see within the drum and bass/Electronica/Dance genre?


13.)Do you feel the main tune of the song should come in early or after a long build up?


14.)Would you prefer the music video to follow the narrative of the song or go off on a tangent?
