Questionnaire Responses

These are all of the answers/responses people provided me with when answering my Questionnaire, they have been ordered into each question.

·       I like songs that the lyrics are easy to pic up and sing along to.

·       I like the sound generated by live quitar based music. I also think that this type of music is ‘cooler’ than Drum and Bass. I will be in no doubt have been influence by the fact that in my late teens and early 20’s the brit pop scene exploded with blur and oasis at the forefront. This would have coincided with a time in my life where I socialised an awful lot, creating good fun memories.
·       Energetic, good beat, and as music is more than just the experience of hearing it, it is also something you feel throught the beat and the bass and your surroundings such as the vibrations in the floor.
·       Mainly listen to the genre for the beat and because it is popular on nights out.

·       Prodigy – Smack my bitch up, good twist at the end and I really liked the track.
·       Peter Gabriel – Sledge Hammer, love the contrast of colours, very clearly done and very innovative for its time.

·       LMFAO – Sexy and I know it, fun, upbeat and great dancing.

·       Usually, you would expect to see lighting effects, complementing, dancing or the sound of the tunes, they also all seem to be done in warehouses or the streets.

·       This can vary because of genre.
·       Clubs, grimy streets, car parks (mostly at night) or a beach/pool during the day.
·       Somewhere with big open spaces, possibly outdoors more likely inside where lighting and sound can be used to full advantage as they play a very big part in the look and feel.

·       Mixture if possible, however, a single charcter could be quite spooky and effective.

·       Start with one character, and then build up into a crowd, this is how I see this.
